Hello! When I started developing my Twitter account, I thought that I would use all organic methods: post content, participate in discussions, put hashtags. This, of course, works, but the process is stretched out, and the result does not always justify the efforts. I decided to test buy likes on twitter, and it turned out that it really speeds up the process. Not that I do it all the time, but, for example, if I run an advertising campaign, sometimes I buy likes on the most important tweets. Why? Because it helps to attract attention to the post, letting others know that it is interesting, that it is already a popular topic. People tend to like posts that already have likes - this is a kind of social proof. But there is an important point here - buying likes should not be the only tool. Without quality content, interesting and relevant topics for your audience, no likes will help. Moreover, if you resort to such methods too often, you may face the fact that your account will look unnatural, and subscribers will begin to lose trust. I recommend combining buying likes with constantly creating interesting, useful and engaging posts, interacting with subscribers, holding contests or giveaways to maintain activity.

Interesting topic, thanks for the discussion! I also encountered the issue of promotion in social networks, and I can add that buying likes is one way to speed up growth, but it is important not to get carried away. I once decided to do this, but it is important not to forget that the result is also affected by how you interact with the audience. Likes are important, but even more important is real communication with subscribers, responses to comments, engagement. Without this, your account can become just a "dummy" with artificially inflated numbers.
